Four young puppies were found dumped in Monroe County on Friday. The dogs were found to have the Parvo Virus. The Parvovirus is a highly infectious gastrointestinal virus that can be fatal for the dogs if it were left untreated.
The puppies are around 8-weeks-old and, and they were found along the side of the I-275 in Monroe County.
The Lucas County Pit Crew picked up the puppies on Thursday after they were received multiple phone calls about puppies dumped along the freeway at telegraph road.
Unfortunately, one of the pups had already passed away.
Authorities are trying to track the person who dumped the poor dogs and is searching the area to confirm whether or not there are more puppies abandoned in the area.
